Sensei Rudie's visit, surprise, surprise
水曜日に来れなかった先生ルーディー。日曜日に突然訪ねて来てくれました。
17年振りに会った彼は、その当時受けた印象とは違い、娘思いで空手に熱心な人でした。
生徒に話したり教える時に見せた優しい態度は、新鮮な驚きと自らの在り方を考えさせてくれました。
Suddenly he showed up with his daughter to our morning class on Sunday.
It's been 17yrs since I met him in 2001 on 3rd fl.? Kumite class at Hombu.
He was very quick & tricky.
We both have spare tire now. But he also has a gentle look and gentle words to share with my students.
I guess he lives with perseverance over there.
